Great article. Climate change today reminds me of how unregulated the earlier industrial environment was around polluting rivers and our oceans. It’s leading to a great economic asymmetry mostly affecting (as you correctly pointed out) the poor and disenfranchised. It’s the largest tragedy of the commons in modern history and its costs will continue to accumulate. PG&E, Southern California Edison and other companies will be collateral damage. The people will suffer the most.
