Certain truths are self evident. The line is being blurred as to what these truths are. Truths that were once self-evident are being claimed as no longer being so. In this case, it is true that both sides, the President and the media, are perpetrators of blurring these lines.

In an age where information is everywhere, and yet the truth and the lies are side by side, it’s the ability of the people to find truth from this information critically and quickly that really matters. Education and critical thinking become the sources of truth. Not the media. Not the president. Often, not even much of science.

Although information continues to grow, the number of truths and values that are self-evident stay about the same, grow very slowly, or can even decrease over time.
